Music Lesson at the Irish Centre

The teachers are Annette Hannigan and John Devine. Lessons will be held on Saturday mornings from 10am to 12pm
with the first hour dedicated to learners new to Irish music, and the second hour to the more advanced players.

We offer tuition on almost every instrument associated with Irish music but recommend beginners start with the Tin Whistle.
We’re hoping to make these available through us but if you want to buy your own, or you already have one please ensure it is in the key of ‘D’

Lessons are offered fortnightly to begin with but we hope they will be weekly eventually.
The teachers will take it in turn to deliver each lesson and there will only be one teacher at each lesson.

There is a charge of £6.00 per lesson and payment can either be made in advance,
to the Irish Centre, for a six/ seven week lesson term, at a time.
(I.E. Each 6 lesson term = £36.00 and a 7 week term = £42.00) or fortnightly.
Those paying fortnightly will be charged for all lessons whether they attend or not, this makes it fair for everyone. < BR > The dates for the next  term are as follows.

Lesson Dates:    October 9th & 23rd
                         November 6th & 20th
                         December 4th
